Since their time together at the University of St. Andrews, Prince William and Princess Kate are together as a couple. As time passed, the royal couple had started their family with their three children, Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte.
The couple started to their relationship as friends at St Andrews University. At that time, both Prince William and Princess Kate had their own partners. Through time, the couple moved into the same residence hall, and took same classes.
“She’s got a really naughty sense of humour, which really helps me because I’ve got a really dirty sense of humour so it was good fun, we had a really good laugh, and then things happened,” was said by Prince William in the engagement video.
In the beginning of their relationship, Kate Middleton had faced bullying from William’s friends, who called her names to mock with Middleton’s air hostess mother.
“It was never water off a duck’s back, but she has extraordinary strength of character and resilience. I’ve never once seen or heard of her losing her temper,” a royal aide shared.
When it was 2021, a source shared that Prince William had argued with his friends as they kept mocking her. “He flies off the handle at any sign of Kate being patronised and stamps that out very quickly. It’s one of his triggers,” the source shared.
“Over the years, many people have come up with great ideas for her, but if they are put across in a dismissive way, they’ve got pretty short shrift from him.”
In 2011, the royal couple had joined their lives through marriage. In 2013 the royal couple welcomed their first born, Prince George. In 2015 they welcomed Princess Charlotte, and in 2018 Prince Louis.
Sadly, in 2019, an allegation had started. The allegations were about an affair which Prince William had over his relationship with his wife. The US magazine “In Touch” had stated that Prince William may have involved in an affair with Rose Hanbury, the Marchioness of Cholmondeley.
“Both sides have considered legal action, but because none of the reports have been able to offer any evidence about what the so-called dispute is about, they have chosen to ignore it… These hurtful rumors of a fallout are simply false,” royal expert Richard Kay had shared.
Rose Hanbury’s grandmother, Lady Elizabeth Lambert, was a bridesmaid of late Queen Elizabeth. So Hanbury had a close relationship with the royal family, and she is a close friend to Kate Middleton.
Middleton and Hanbury even had a double date with their partners. Middleton, Prince William, Rose Hanbury and her husband David, the Marquess of Cholmondeley had a dinner together. Also, Hanbury and Middleton are financially supporting the East Anglia Children’s Hospice.
Hanbury met with her husband, David, in 2003, while they were both on a holiday at the same place. Six years after their first meeting, they walked down the aisle at the Chelsea Town Hall. Together the couple welcomed three children, Alexander, the Earl of Rocksavage, Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, and Lady Iris.
The boys are play friends with Prince George, and Lord Oliver has a special place during King Charles’ coronation.
A source talked about the affair rumours which took place in 2019, and shared that Hanbury, David, Middleton and Prince William were shocked with the news. “These hurtful rumours of a fallout are simply false. William and David were in touch with each other over the weekend, not knowing whether to laugh or complain,” the source shared.
“Both wives are hurt by the suggestion that there is any argument or even a coolness between them. They have plans for future events involving their charity.”
“It has now become very upsetting, and they are all concerned for each other, as they have never before had to start denying something for which there is no evidence or even a smidgen of truth. It is just mad.” A different source had shared, who claimed to be a friend of the couple.
As there happens to be no conflict between Middleton and Hanbury, they had attended to a music festival, Houghton Music Festival, in Norfolk.
“Catherine was nervous about the idea, but after much discussion with her protection officers, she went with lots of security. William wasn’t there,” an insider shared with a magazine.
