Belinda “Love” Rygier, the Australian TV star of The Bachelor Australia, shared that she had a “sex addiction,” and that she had a time period in her life where she would have sex with men six nights a week.
38-year-old also stated that she had a recovery from her addiction, where she confronted with herself to solve her problem.
Belinda also revealed the number of bodies she touched while she was struggling with her addiction. The Australian shared that she had slept with more than 700 men, and she added that the number would be higher if not the same.
In 2022, Belinde became a relationship expert talked with “You’re a Grub Mate!” radio show and shared that it took eight years to recover from her addiction. She also stated that she was celibate for the last 15 months.
“I didn’t know I had the problem until I healed it. The issue was with my relationships and I kept attracting toxic men,” Belinda said.
“When I recovered I thought there was some unhealed trauma from my past that was causing my sex addiction.”
“It ruled my life, but I was a functioning addict, I have a great career, you wouldn’t know on the surface.”
“Men were very good at telling me what I want to hear, it was about feeling beautiful and validated and loved rather than having the sex,” Belinda continued.
“Society has declined and we’re using sex for the wrong reason – which is a quick validation or moment,” she added. “I will be having sex again but with someone I have a connection with.”
