Vicki started to live with her aunt Carla after she lost her parents in a car accident. It was clear from the beginning that Carla was going to use Vicky to reach her parent’s wealth. During the funeral, Carla forcibly took Vicky to her car, where she didn’t even let her say goodbye to her parents.
In a week, Vicky started to live in the basement, while Carla and her daughter Anna was having fun in the whole house. She only had a drawing book, and her dog Roger. One day, she asked for her dog, and learned that Carla sent him to an animal shelter since Anna had an allergy against dogs.
Vicky cried that day. Not only her parents left her, her dog was also not there when she needed him the most. Her aunt wouldn’t even let her to eat with them unless she was serving the food and cleaning afterwards.
Vicky cried for her mother, her father and her dog, Roger. The only time she was happy was her time in school. She never liked when Carla would take her from school. The weekends were nightmare.
Vicky had no other option to follow the rules of her aunt since she was little, and had no other place to go. One day, Anna ordered Vicky to wash her boots. Vicky was too tired so she refused. That led Anna to cut Vicky’s long, beautiful hair.
That night, while she was crying, Vicky decided to send letters to her late mother. Nonetheless, someone said to her in the funeral that her mother would hear her when she would talk to her.
She wrote everything that has happened since her mother passed away. How Carla and Anna were treating her. How she was living like a slave in the house. She then took the letter and left it in the mail box.
On the next day, once she checked the mail box, she saw that her letter was not in it. She started to jump with joy that her mother took the letter. She was happy because she believed that her mother would come back and save her.
As she didn’t receive any replies, she decided to write another letter, where she shared her heartbreak. Day after day she repeated. Until she received a reply.
“Hi Vicky! I’m your mother’s messenger. I’ll be at your school tomorrow with my friends, and we will talk about your situation. Until then, take care!”
Vick was incredibly happy, because she was going to be saved from her cruel aunt. She was so excited that she couldn’t sleep that night. When it was time for to meet with her mother’s messenger, she saw a man waving at her.
Then they started to talk. The man explained that Vicky’s mother went to heaven, and people in earth sadly can’t communicate with them. But he promised that he will help her. Then they went back to the house.
Then Larry and Vicky met with the Child Protective Services, and had a talk with Carla. As the CPS officers saw how horrible situation Vicky was in, they arrested Carla and took Vicky to a foster family, who were waiting for someone.
As it was time for Vicky to meet with her foster family, she saw Larry and his wife, Samantha and her dog Roger. She was incredibly happy that Larry was going to be her new father.
At least, she was sure that her mother protected her with the help of Larry.
