Salma had a flight with her 14-year-old son, Shawn. They were going to Los Angeles from New York. The journey to the airport was calm for Salma and Shawn, but once they boarded the plane, Shawn started to cry uncontrollably.
People were getting discomfortable with the cries of Shawn, as Salma was trying her best to calm her baby boy down.
Salma was sleepless as Shanw gave her a rough night. Her mother was sick and needed help. That was the reason why Salma was going to Los Angeles. People started to show their discomfort with their looks now.
As an hour passed with the cries of Shawn, a man approached to Salma. “Hey!” he smiled. “I’m David. I have a daughter at the same age as this young man. May I help?”
As Salma gave Shawn to David, she decided to close her eyes for a while. Then the cries of Shawn went silent. Salma turned her head and looked for David, and she got terrified with what she saw.
David was pouring an energy drink into Shawn’s mouth. She rushed towards David, “What are you doing?!” she yelled.
“Calm down! Just a little sip to help him burp.”
As Salma tried to take her son back, David held Shawn strongly. “Shut up woman, this is why your son is crying!”
While they were shouting at each other, a flight attendant approached and asked “What is happening?”
Then Salma explained the situation and wanted her baby back. David defended himself but the flight attendant wanted David to give back the baby. Then David wanted to be seated somewhere else. He didn’t want to hear the cries of Shawn.
Then the flight attendant nodded and left. In a short notice she came back. She first looked at David, and then Salma. “Ma’am, please follow me. Our captain wanted you to be seated at first class. You would have more space and peace.”
