Emily and David tied the knot few years ago. Emily was infertile due to an accident which caused by her husband, David. She had struggled a lot to accept the fact that she couldn’t bear any children. Therefore she was closer than ever to adoption, as she had thoughts of it before the accident.
Her relationship with her husband never deteriorated, despite the fact that her husband was the reason why she was infertile. David was aware that he was the reason, and he was also feeling guilty.
Through the help of her therapist, Emily learned to control her feelings. The married couple decided to keep the reason of Emily’s infertility as a secret from everyone. David even begged Emily to keep this secret away from her best friend, so she did.
After two years later, the couple decided on adoption, and in a month, they found a child through legal process. Emily was happy that her husband was excited for they were going to become parents. But things got changed after what David did.
Emily received a text from an unknown number few days later the news of adoption. In the text, there was an image of David with another woman in a hotel room. The hotel room was the same room where David and Emily celebrated their 10th anniversary.
Emily was devastated. She was furious and damaged incredibly. First her husband caused her infertility, and now he broke her emotionally. She couldn’t believe that her husband would do that to her, as they were on the verge of adoption and becoming parents.
She then decided on a revenge. When her husband David arrived back at home, he found a romantic dinner table. As they were dining, Emily asked, “Are you ready to become a parent? Welcome our first child? Do you love me?”
As David shared his thoughts, the evening moved on with watching TV together. But David didn’t know that Emily was recording those moments, to use it for the divorce. She sent the video to her best friend and her mother.
Short after, through the council of her mother and best friend, Emily faced with David. She handed the divorce papers over to him. Her parents and best friend had gathered to help Emily.
As Emily won the court, she never thought that she could leave David. She was sure that David would be the best father to her children, and the best man in her life, who would love her unconditionally.
