Jack and Nancy were married for nine years, and their relationship was a famous one for the love and respect they had for each other.
In the last three months, things changed as they started to go south. They usually do everything with each other, but recently, Jack was leaving his wife alone and would go to some events with his friends alone.
He would say that his friend’s too aren’t bringing their wives, and that is why he was attending at their meetings alone.
She believed to that when her husband, the love of her life said that.
One day, when Nancy ran into Kevin’s wife Marcia, Kevin was her husband’s oldest friend, asked why she was not attending at their meetings. Nancy was shocked. Marcia told her that Jack was saying to his friends that his wife was taking hormonal shots for they were trying for a baby, and that was why Nancy was not coming to these meetings.
Nancy couldn’t believe what she heard.
Marcia asked how the dealing with hormonal shots going, and Nancy told her that her body is just adjusting, to keep things in order. Then Marcia told her that the friends’ group would like to see her in the next meeting, and told her the date and place.
For that same dinner date, Nancy had tricked her husband that she would like to go to a restaurant with him. When they were at the restaurant, Jack was shocked to see his friends.
There, Nancy saw Sasha, Jack’s ex-girlfriend. She was the new wife of one of Jack’s friends. Sasha was constantly tried to take Jack into the conversation, which caught Nancy’s attention.
During the drive back home, Jack explained that Sasha didn’t want Nancy in the meetings, as she was coming in there. She told them that she was their friend from school, and that she wouldn’t be there if Nancy would come.
“Why would you just allow her to choose? And anyway, most of the wives were not in school with your group of friends, but we’ve gotten close to each other.” Nancy said.
As she asked more and more questions, then the matter came to a possible affair which Jack yelled, “No! Nancy, no! It’s definitely not like that.”
As they talked, they sorted everything out. Jack promised that if Sasha wouldn’t want Nancy in the group once again, he will not attend too.
The only question left in Nancy’s head was the hormone shots for her pregnancy, which was not in their agenda.
