HELICOPTER CRASH IN HOUSTON, FOUR PEOPLE DIED, INCLUDING A CHILD, AFTER A HELICOPTER CRASHED INTO RADIO TOWER IN HOUSTON

A terrible helicopter crash happened in Houston, Texas, where four people, including a child, lost their lives. A helicopter crashed into a radio tower in Houston’s Second Ward, East End on the 20th of October.

The footage of the crash was recorded by a civilian, Jay Marroquin’s security camera, at 7:51:19 p.m.

The black and white footage is showing that the helicopter went straight into the radio tower, which the tower didn’t have any light on it to show it was there.

“PIO is en route to a reported helicopter crash at Engelke & Ennis. Preliminary info that a helicopter hit a radio tower at about 7:54 pm […] All info further information will come from the scene,” Houston Fire Department stated.

Later, the department stated, “The FAA will investigate. Media staging behind the Stellar Bank at Navigation and Ennis.”

Houston Mayor John Whitmire made a statement where he said, “This is a tragic event tonight, it’s a tragic loss of life.”

Whitmire said, “We have a terrible accident scene. Multiple fatalities […] I’m going to be very cautious in my description of facts and details, but what I want to emphasize is that the area is secure.”

“We don’t know the age ranges yet, but that we are pretty sure.” Houston Police Chief Noe Diaz shared.

“My prayers are with the families of the people in the helicopter,” Diaz ended.
