While Jen was chilling in the living room, she noticed that her neighbors, Pam and Robert were checking her garden and the walls.
“Hi, neighbors!” Jen stepped outside.
She asked what they were doing, and the neighbors they praised the house, the yard, the garden and the roses.
Jen thanked as she was appreciated it. Then they asked a weird question. “Well, you’ve done a fantastic job. Maybe you’d like to switch houses?”
Jen directly refused as she told her neighbors that with her husband Samuel, they put a lot of effort into their house.
As Robert and Pam mumbled something, they returned to their home. That was a tense talk for Jen with her neighbors. She couldn’t understand where did they found the nerve to ask that.
Jen talked with Samuel about what happened, when her husband returned from work. Samuel assured his wife that he will take care of them.
A week later, their landlord, Mr. Matty, knocked their door. It was weekend, and Sam opened the door. Then the landlord directly handed the eviction note. They were shocked.
The landlord explained that many of the neighbors sent complaints about Jen and Samuel. Mr. Matty told the couple that the neighborhood was not happy with the constant noise they were making and that Robert and Pam told Mr. Matty that the garden was smelling bad.
“This is outrageous! How can you believe those lies?” Jen responded as she was horrified with the lies.
After Jen and Sam renovated the house, it was no coincidence that Robert and Pam were after the house, and tried to trick their landlord.
They packed their belongings when the morning arrived. Robert and Pam were also packing to move into their new house.
Then Jen and Sam had took everything back what they renovated. They dismantled the garden, took back their jacuzzi, the special lightning in the house, and everything else. They of course talked with their landlord before doing so, and Mr. Matty accepted as he was aware of the consequences of evicting them.
They were keen on not letting Pam and Robert to live on the house they created.
Few days later, Jen received a phone call from an unknown number. When she took the call, she noticed that it was Pam. She probably found the surprise they left for them.
“You left trash and fish leftovers hidden all over the house! It stinks, and we can’t find where the smell is coming from! All our neighbors are complaining, and they want us out! We’re going to sue you for this!”
