WOMAN FINALLY FOUND OUT THE REASON WHY HER BOYFRIEND WASN’T INVITING HER INTO HIS HOME

Joan and Steve were together for two months. They were walking on the street as they were holding hands. Then Steve told Joan that he would call her a taxi since it was getting late.

Joan smiled, “Maybe we could share a taxi? You know, head to your place together?”

They were together for two months, but Steve still didn’t invite her into his home. But Steve called a cab as he told Joan, “Maybe next time.”

On their next four dates Steve denied Joan’s entry into his home as he dodged her request to come to her house.

Joan needed answers so one day she baked a pie and went to Steve’s house. After she knocked his door, her heart was racing. When Steve opened the door, he was surprised to see her.

“I thought I’d bring you a pie… you know, as a surprise,” Joan smiled.

Then she heard other footsteps coming from inside. She was devastated. She directly asked if Steve was married and that was the reason why he didn’t invite Joan in his house.

“I was married,” Steve said then.

Steve then revealed that his wife passed away and he was a widower. As Joan was shocked and couldn’t believe what she heard, then a little girl appeared behind Steve.

“Hellooo!” the little girl said, “I’m Lucy! Who are you?”

“Hi, Lucy. I’m Joan,” Joan smiled back.

Then Lucy tugged her father’s shirt and begged for Joan to stay. As Steve was unsure what to say, he invited Joan in.

Inside, there was another little girl smiling at Joan, who was Carla. Steve’s younger daughter. Joan’s eyes got wet as she saw the little girls with their father.

Steve remained quiet while Joan and the girls talked a lot. They shared funny stories with each other.

Joan finally understood why Steve didn’t invite her home or stay with her in late hours. He was a caring father.

He told Joan that he didn’t want to scare her away, and wanted to protect his precious daughters, since he couldn’t trust to a person he knew for only two months. Joan said that she is understanding his points, and promised that she will help him as much as she can if he needs to.
