WHY DID MICHAEL JACKSON COVER HIS CHILDREN’S FACES?

Since he welcomed his first child, Michael Jackson wanted to keep them away from the spotlight and public eye, as he would cover his children’s faces with masks and veils whenever they were out in public.

Through the years, there were many speculations and rumors about the reason why Michael Jackson was doing this, and recently one of his children revealed the truth about why their father was covering their faces.

The singer wanted his children not to endure the same exposure he underwent in his career. He wanted to raise his children in a unique way which his eldest son understood really well.

“He told us the reason for the masks was he wanted us to have our own life without him,” Prince Michael I Jackson said.

“I don’t think I ever thought about if other kids lived like that when I was younger. But once I knew who he was, I realized it wasn’t normal.”

“After he died, we got bombarded with [everything].” Prince said about the custody battles.

As time passed, people accused Michael Jackson with molesting children, and later, his children were accused with the same allegations where they were under the same media pressure.

“Music is a big part of my life. It shaped who I am because of my family, but I’ve always wanted to go into production. My dad would ask me what I wanted to do and my answer was always producing and directing,” Prince said.

His sister Paris also followed her father’s footsteps in the industry and started her career as a musician. Back in 2017, Paris revealed that she was suicidal and attempted to take her own life many times in her childhood.

“I’ve always wanted to kind of break off and do my own thing, just ’cause I feel I enjoy independence very much,” Paris said.

After Michael was dead, his children revealed their faces, as they were no longer isolated from the world.
