ESTRANGED SISTER WANTED THE HOUSE HER SISTER INHERITED

It has been fourteen years since Claire last saw her estranged sister Emma. There she was at the door of the house which her grandmother Betty left to Claire after her passing. Claire wanted to leave the house to her mother, since she was living in a tiny apartment after her father left her mother.

Emma left her family after she was under a big debt, and left her family to pay that debt. There she was standing in front of her. She had the same eyes which haunted Claire in her sleep.

“What… what are you doing here?”

Emma walked inside without waiting for an invitation, where their mother Molly was shocked.

“Emma?” Molly asked. “You made us go through hell after you left!”

“Calm down, alright? I just need to talk.” Emma responded.

“There’s nothing left to say. Get out.” Molly responded as she didn’t want to see her daughter.

Then Emma explained that she heard about Grandma’s passing and that Claire inherited the house.

Claire explained that Betty left the house to her and she renovated it for her mother, so she can live in here. Emma then revealed that she wanted her share from the inheritance.

They were shocked. How could Emma have the audacity to stand in front of them and talk that way after what she did fourteen years ago.

“Just get out,” Claire told to her as she pointed the door she opened. Before Emma left, she told them that her lawyer will be in contact for what is rightfully hers.

Then Betty’s lawyer called everyone into his office to talk. The man revealed that Betty clearly stated in her will that Emma had no right over the house, as she left something for her.

Betty left one dollar to Emma, as she wrote, “To my granddaughter Emma, for reasons known only to me, I leave the sum of one dollar.”

Then it was Molly and Claire’s turn for the court. They sued Emma for leaving her big debt onto them, and escape without paying. They wanted to receive their compensation from her.

Now, it was time for Emma to pay back.
