Molly had twins, and since they were born, Molly didn’t sleep fully in months. The Halloween was around the corner, and the whole neighborhood was decorated.
She had no power, or time to decorate as she had twins to care for. Her neighbor Brad was a weird man who give too much importance to Halloween. He decorated his house ridiculously.
One morning, as Molly left the house, she was shocked. Her car was egged. She parked her car in front of Brad’s house a night ago, as she couldn’t find anywhere else to park.
Then she saw egg shells on Brad’s porch. She went to confront him.
Brad directly admitted that he did it because Molly’s car was blocking his house to be seen from the neighborhood.
Then Brad called himself the Halloween King, and that Molly’s car was blocking his magnificent decorations to be seen by the people in the neighborhood. He told Molly that parking his car in front of his house was inconsiderate.
Molly told Brad that she had twins, so she couldn’t park the car to elsewhere, and asked why he didn’t talked with her first instead of egging her car.
“That’s not my problem, Molly. Listen, you can park there again after Halloween is over, okay?”
She was angry while she was washing her car. Then she thought of a revenge plan. Few hours later, as she returned back to her home, she saw Brad adding more decorations. She told Brad that he should upgrade his decorations with high tech stuff like ghost projections and fog machines.
“You think so?” He asked as he was visibly thinking about it.
When the Halloween arrived, Brad’s house was looking like a horror movie set. He was watching his house where apparitions were floating in the fog caused by his designs.
Then it all went south. The fog machine got broken and started to spray the water it was evaporating and then the projection burned with the heat as it was not designed to be work constantly.
Then the children started to laugh at Brad’s failure, as Molly was laughing too since what she thought had happened.
On the next morning, Brad was at Molly’s door to apologize. He accepted that he overreacted and couldn’t realize that it was how hard to care for newborn twins.
