He is married to his wife Caroline since 1991. When they celebrated their 29th anniversary on 2020, Bruce shared a post where he wrote, “Caroline, thank you for 29 incredible years of this journey, 29 years of co-raising two amazing young women, and 29 years of staying open-minded as the world changes around us and we learn and grow together.”
Bruce had two daughters, and Suzanne loved being a devoted grandmother. Her husband had four grandchildren too, and she was loving them too as if they were her own.
CAMELIA SOMERS
As Camelia was born in a family where a huge name from Hollywood was in, she directly went on performing in young ages.
In 2015, she made her debut with “The Bold and the Beautiful,” where she acted along with Pierson Fode.
During her raising, she loved musical theater, danced on a team, and played roles in children’s theater. She attended to the Harvard Westlake School.
When her birthday arrived, Bruce celebrated the day with a post on social media, where he wrote, “I would pick you as my daughter in every lifetime. Thank you for the spirits you lift, the smiles you generate, and the light you shine on everything you touch.”
VIOLET SOMERS
Despite living more privately, Violet Somers chose to live with her creative career. She acted in “Paint Me in the Opera House.”
Her father Bruce also celebrated Violet’s birthday from his social media account where he wrote, “This soul turned 25 today. That’s 25 years of spreading light and love touching everyone she encounters. […] Happy birthday, Violet. I love you so much. Thanks again for choosing me as your Dad on earth. Love you always.”
After their grandmother passed away, the sisters talked about how it was to lose Suzanne Somers. Violet shared that before Suzanne passed away, she asked her to visit her in a form of a yellow butterfly.
“The day that I went to visit after she had passed, I walked out of the house and there was just this museum-level black and yellow butterfly,” Violet shared.
Camelia said, “If you were good at something, in her mind, you were the best. […] I grew up doing musical theater. We were all showing her a video of Lady Gaga and she looked at me and she said, ‘You’re better’ […].”
