On the 13th of October, 29-year-old star ice hockey player Janne Puhakka, found dead by a shot at his home in Henttaa, Espoo. His 66-year-old partner Rolf Nordmo was arrested at the scene.
Authorities stated the prime suspect was Rolf Nordmo, and the officials stated that the investigation is not yet finished. The suspected murder was reported by a bystander.
Head of the investigation Matti Högman stated that the homicide is “particularly brutal and cruel.”
Puhakka’s team, Rapaces de Gap shared their sorrow from their social media account as, “Janne marked the staff and [his] teammates with [his] kindness and team spirit. We send our sincere condolences to his family, his relatives, and all his former teammates.”
