Sally was a steamfitter, and also was also the supervisor for other workers. With the bonuses, she was making over $100 an hour. After their son was old enough, Sally left her son Terry, under her husband, John’s watch and started to work out of town, as she would go on occasional visits to other branches.
When Sally started to make more money that John, it became a problem for him. John had a friend group who were sexists. They were believing that women belonged to the kitchen.
Ben started to change in time. He was leaving all the work in the house to Sally. But in truth, Sally was working more and making more than John.
Slowly, their son Terry started to act like his father, since John was the one who Terry was spending most of his time. It was normal for a small boy to copy his father.
One day, she had an argument with her husband. When Sally returned from a trip out of town, she found the house was in a mess. When she talked with her husband about it, John told her that it was her job to clean the house.
Sally snapped. Then her son accused her with not working at home chores too. That was it.
She told them that she will not lift a finger until they apologize.
The father and son only endure four days. When the morning of fifth day arrived, they came crawling to apologize and beg for forgiveness.
After Sally was sure that her family would do no such a thing again, she accepted their apology, and from that day on, they did all the chores together.
