34-year-old Meg was returning from her a month-long trip. She was driving back to her home while talking to her mother on the phone.
Dina was concerned about her daughter, who kept working the entire vacation. She asked that when her daughter would focus on herself, instead of her job.
She then explained that as she was a producer, she needs to have information over everything, and decide on matters.
Then Dina asked that when she will see a grandchild. She wanted her daughter to be married and with a child.
Meg sighed. She then stated that she needs to focus on the road, and that she would call her tomorrow.
She was exhausted. She just wanted to arrive at home and sleep for long hours.
There she was, on her driveway. She took her bags, and walked inside. Something was off, as some windows were slightly open. She closed them before she left. Was someone inside?
She then shut the windows, and turned the lights off before she went upstairs. She changed her clothes and went into the bed.
When the morning arrived, she was awoken with her ranging phone. Her assistant was calling her. She then went to the kitchen, and there she saw a man in her living room. Her heart skipped a beat. There were footprints under the window, and a man with his filthy boots, snoring on her couch.
She screamed then “Who are you?”
“Uh… I’m George,” the man responded and asked how did he get in there.
Then Meg asked the same question. George explained that he was drinking with friends, then he didn’t remember the rest.
“I guess I drank too much.”
She then relieved, and gave George an aspirin and water. “Thank you… and I’m really sorry.”
Meg told George to leave when he was feeling fine, and that she said that her job is waiting.
When she returned back from her work, she found a big dinner table waiting for her in the home. George prepared it and was waiting for Meg.
“What is this?”
George stated that he was feeling guilty, and that he wanted to prepare a dinner for Meg to make it up to her. Then Meg sat on the chair while George apologized again and started to pack his belongings.
Then Meg stopped him. “You’ve already gone through all this trouble to make such a nice dinner. Stay and have it with me. I can’t eat all of this by myself, anyway.”
George gladly accepted. They conversed a lot during the dinner. Meg felt something in her heart when she looked at George. She was falling in love.

A year later, George returned to Meg’s house, but this time he was the owner too.
