NORTHERN LIGHTS WILL BE VISIBLE OVER SEVEN STATES

After a geomagnetic storm, northern lights will be visible from seven states as the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Space Weather Prediction Center (NWSSWPC) shared from their X (formerly known as Twitter) account.

It is stated that on the 11th and 12th of October, the aurora borealis will be visible on seven states.

As it is stated, the states, Alaska and northern parts of Washington, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin will witness the northern lights during the night.

Montana, South Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine have a low chances of spotting them on the sky, during night time.

“There is potential to reach G4 (Severe) upon arrival of this CME and throughout its passage,” the NWSSWPC also warned.
