PEOPLE COULDN’T RECOGNIZED THE STAR FROM THE 2000S, THE TRANSFORMATION OF NELLY FURTADO

Nelly Furtado’s recent performance caused a stir on the social media. The famous singer of 2000s, was a big name with her talent and body.

In a recent interview, the famous star had shared her difficult experiences as she talked about her first years in the industry.

“I have olive skin, and they’d kind of lighten my skin a lot in photos, and kind of take my hips down all the time — they would always cut off in editorials,” she said.

She even inspired songs due to this problems, as she wrote in her song “Powerless,” “Paint my face in your magazines / Make it look whiter than it seems / Paint me over with your dreams / Shove away my ethnicity.”

“By my second album, I guess I was kind of angry about it.” Portuguese descent singer shared.

In her career, Furtado had left the spotlight to focus on her children. She has three children.

After she gave birth to her children, Furtado was diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

“When I was attending college, [I was like] ‘Boing, boing, boing, boing.’ I’ve had it my whole life. But when I had my two youngest in close proximity, it made me very aware of my ADHD.”

As she recently performed on stage to promote her new album after years of absence, many people commented about her return as:

“What a beautiful woman,”

“She actually looks a whole better than what she looked like in 2006 [sic] thicker more voluptuous body after having kids. Perfect I love it.”

“So, she gained some weight. So, what! She still looks gorgeous. This obsession with weight is ridiculous.”
