Peter and Amy were married for three years, as things escalated quickly in their relationship. Few months later, she found out that she was pregnant.
Peter’s family were from Germany. Their differences in culture made their relationship work. Years later, Peter’s company sent him back to Germany, and they moved to there with their child.
Peter’s family wasn’t talking much English, but they didn’t know that Amy knew German. At first, she didn’t think that language would be a problem, but the family started to make comments.
In one gathering, as they didn’t think that Amy knew German, Peter’s sister and his mother, Ingrid and Klara, were talking about Amy’s dress. They stated that she was not looking nice, and that she gained a lot of weight since she became pregnant.
Then they said something more disturbing. Their first child was not looking like Peter, as Ken had red hair. They were commenting on that, and accused Amy with infidelity.
After her second child was born, she heard them talking once again. They were asking to each other that if Amy was aware of the truth. Then Klara responded, “Of course not. Peter never told her the truth about the first baby.”
Then she went to the kitchen, and asked Peter what happened to their first baby. Peter’s face went pale. As he was panicked, he decided to confess.
He stated that his family forced him to take a paternity test for their first son, Ken. And it came out as negative. But Peter never stopped loving Ken or Amy. He stated that not long before their relationship started, Amy was still with her ex, and Peter stated that she might get pregnant and didn’t notice.
But that didn’t change the love of Peter for Amy or Ken. For years he kept this as a secret. On the next day, Amy and Ken went together and took another test. A week later, they learned that Peter was the father.
The family revealed that Amy was not an appropriate wife for their son Peter. They wanted her to go.
Then the family confessed that they played with the test. They returned to the states afterwards, as Peter talked with his company.
