Despite Prince Harry visited the UK for a few times, he only met with his family with his secret visit to his father King Charles, after his diagnosis with cancer. Also, he is not spoken with his brother, Prince William, for years. Also, the only time Meghan and Kate talked, was after Middleton’s abdominal surgery.
“I still think things are too sensitive for a meaningful reconciliation with William, but the fact that he and Catherine authorised the greeting to be posted is definitely an unexpected turn of events,” royal expert Jennie Bond shared.
“I don’t think we should hold our breath for the step to really signal the start of a reconciliation, but it was an unexpected turn of events.”
“William has so much on his plate at the moment that I don’t think he has room in his heart or head to deal with all that has gone on with Harry. While the brothers may never be close again, or even live on the same continent, it doesn’t mean that the future has to be full of bitterness and bad blood. Catherine is right. Family should always be paramount.”
Royal expert Tom Quinn stated that Meghan Markle wants two things if they were to return back to the royal family, as “she feels that the Royal Family have been sufficiently nice to her, and grovelingly apologized for the past”.
“Harry would like a reconciliation, but supports his wife completely and until she feels that the Royal family have been sufficiently nice to her – and grovelingly apologized for the past – it’s not going to happen,” Quinn shared.
Also, Quinn stated that when Harry and Meghan visited Nigeria, the royal family didn’t like when they were given a “royal welcome.”
“For Charles and William, it’s as if Meghan and Harry are saying, ‘We don’t need your permission to be working royals – we will do it on our own terms whenever and wherever we like,’” royal expert said.
As other sources are stating that Harry and Meghan wanted to be a part of Hollywood society, celebrities and Hollywood stars doesn’t want to do anything with them.
They also lost friends, as Victoria and David Beckham. When Meghan was thinking of moving to the UK, when her relationship with Harry become serious, Victoria Beckham offered much help to Markle.
“Harry was very polite, but obviously it was a pretty awkward exchange and David was mortified. Inexplicably, [Meghan] feared Victoria was behind it – I mean, the idea that Victoria Beckham would be personally ringing journalists to give them a scoop is ridiculous – and spoke to Harry about it,” a source shared.
“Harry is very protective of Meghan, and decided to deal with the matter head-on, by directly contacting his good pal, David. He quickly put Harry right, and the two men agreed to move on – but it certainly made things awkward for a while.”
“She wanted no competition in the media from David. It seemed she was not prepared to tolerate anything flattering regarding the Beckhams and the Games to appear in the media,” royal biographer Tom Bower shared.
Royal expert Richard Eden shared that Beckham family always supported royal family, and that is why they dropped their friendship with Harry and Meghan.
“David had always been an ardent royalist who would stand up for the Queen’s Speech every Christmas, dressed in his Sunday best. Years later, he queued for 12 hours to view the Queen’s coffin when her body was lying in state,” royal expert said.
“So it is, perhaps, no surprise that the Sussexes’ attacks on the Royal Family failed to impress the Beckhams.”
“Both David and Victoria put great importance on family and would never, ever turn on their relations the way that Harry and Meghan did,’ one of their associates tells me. The truth is that Victoria never really liked Meghan much. She was friendly and welcoming to her but is not bothered about staying in touch.”
And that led to Meghan’s frustration with new pictures of William. Few days ago, Prince William and David Beckham met at RAF Northolt to celebrate London Air Ambulance’s Up Against Time campaign.
As royal expert Kinsey Schofield shared that Markle was annoyed by this meeting. “Yes, I do think that this is something that will annoy Meghan Markle,” the royal expert said.
“After two weeks of bad press since Prince Harry’s been gone. I just think that she’s probably livid right now, based on the reaction that she’s getting from all of these stories. She’s had to deal with that while Prince Harry’s been out of town.”
“That’s gotta be incredibly hard for her. And then to see this kind of victory moment from Prince William. A victory moment that she would tell you it should have been Harry’s moment after the WellChild awards, that would be upsetting to her.”
