Despite their relationship problems, May was hopeful for her marriage with Brian. She wanted to surprise him in France, where he was in for a business trip, to rekindle the flame.
She booked a ticket from the same flight, and was going to surprise him at the airport, but she was the one who got surprised.
At the airport, a woman intimately hugged and welcomed Brian. May was shocked. She yelled, “Brian!”
Brian went pale when he heard his wife’s voice. He was panicking but he had the courage to talk with May. He asked what she was doing. When he learned May’s intention, he stated that he needed to focus on his project, and that he can’t have her with him.
Then added that the woman was his friend from college. He tore May’s ticket and sent her back to home.
“I thought we were trying to fix things,” May cried.
“This was a mistake. Leave,” Brian said as he walked away with the woman.
Then a tall, handsome man asked to May that if she was okay, after the man found her devastated, sitting on the ground. The man, whose name is Jack, stated that he was a pilot, and that he wanted to help her. He arranged a business class ticket for May.
When Brian saw May in the plane, he shouted at her again, but this time Jack intervened. “She’s here at my invitation,” he said, and sent him back to economy. Then May thanked, which Jack responded as, “You’re welcome. Enjoy the flight, and remember, you deserve to be treated with respect, here and everywhere else.”
She spent a dreamy holiday in Paris, with Jack. He was there for a week, and that week was the start of a new life for May. After they returned, she immediately divorced Brian, and started a new life with Jack, the pilot who brought her above the clouds.
