WHY DID JOY BEHAR WAITED FOR THREE DECADES TO MARRY 7 YEARS YOUNGER HUSBAND

Famous TV host of “The View,” Joy Behar will celebrate her 82nd birthday on the 7th of October. In 2013, Behar was let go of the show, but in 2015 she was returned.

“I was glad to be fired. I basically was sick of the show at that point for some reason, I don’t even remember why.”

“That was very stupid of them. But they learned their lesson,” Behar said of the network after she was fired, and brought back.

In 2022, Behar stated that she has no intention of retiring as she will stay on TV as long as she can, as she loves.

“I have no plans to retire,” TV star said. “I’m happy to be a part of it. So no, I’m not going anywhere. I’m having a good time.”

In an episode, co-host Ana Navarro stated that Behar doesn’t like to talk about her birthday, and Behar responded, “I can’t get excited. I’m just glad I’m alive, okay? You know, you get to a point where you wake up in the morning and say, ‘I’m still here, my God.'”

In her life, Behar had two marriages and became a mother and a grandmother. She married Steve Janowitz in 2011. They stayed together for 29 years before they married.

In a podcast, Behar revealed that they are rarely fight, and when they do, it is about the car. “First of all, it’s always about the car,” Behar said.

“He’s always criticizing how I drive,” she said of her partner of 40 years.

“I had it in drive, and I forgot to take it out of drive. I got out of the car, and it started to roll down… it went into the farm stand anyway. It was too late. It was a tomato blight. I can’t go to that farm stand now. So that happened one time,” TV star added.

One time, Behar invited Janowitz to her car, and her husband said, “I’m not getting in that car with you.”

“Listen, I’ll take my car, you take yours; I’ll meet you there,” Behar responded.

“I said, ‘I’m sick of you infantilizing me about my driving. I’ve had enough,'” she said to her husband. “Normally I don’t really care, but it’s too much together.”

When Behar talked about why they waited almost three decades for marriage, she said, “We waited so long because I had been married before, and I didn’t really see the point.”
