18-year-old Brian was in college and his father Alex was a professor in his college. That day, Alex came home as he was exhausted. During dinner, they talked about Brian’s college life.
When Brian explained that he had a crush on a girl, Elizabeth White, Alex stopped him and stated that he should stay away from her as she was a bad influence.
“She’s known to be quite frivolous… seen with various boys.”
Brian was upset after he heard that. Then he wanted his father’s laptop for he needed it for a project.
On the next morning, Brian was using the laptop. He then found a private folder in it and decided to open it. He knew all his father’s passwords, and opened the folder.
He then found out that his father was having an affair with Elizabeth White. That was explaining the reason why he talked bad about her.
He made a plan, and decided to take his revenge on the graduation ball. Alex attended to the graduation with a USB drive. Brian took the stage, and opened his father’s pictures with Elizabeth.
As people gasped, Alex took the stage. He then revealed that Elizabeth was his daughter, not girlfriend. He then revealed that he had an affair with the college director Carla Thompson, and then their daughter Elizabeth was born.
18 years ago, Alex and Amanda had a big fight, and Brian was a newborn. Alex was fooled by a friend that Amanda was having an affair, and that was why he slept with Carla.
As Amanda explained her situation and things got clear, Alex lived with that guilt for 18 years. Now his lies were over as he revealed the truth at the graduation.
Since both Elizabeth, Brian and Amanda were lied to, they kicked Alex out from their lives. Amanda accepted Elizabeth as her own, and after the divorce, Alex lost everything.
