Mike and Sarah were invited to their friend Tom’s wedding there were over fifty guests in the venue. People were happy and excited for the wedding of the beautiful couple.
Then Mike turned to the couple next to them, and introduced himself and his wife. The couple stated that the woman’s name was Jane and the husband was Bob.
After Tom and Linda exchanged their wedding vows, people celebrated. As the party started, the bar has opened. Bob brought wine to Mike as he stated that it was fantastic.
But the buffet had a problem. There were not many plates as Mike thought that it would be a problem. Then their names were announced to receive their plates. As they took almost the last things on the buffet, they went back to their table where Bob and Jane were waiting.
As the buffet was empty, the guests were sad. Many people were left hungry, and that caused some problem over the wedding.
Then Tom approached to Mike. He asked that if everything was okay. Then Mike explained the situation. He stated that they were hungry, as they barely ate anything. Only scraps.
Tom apologized as he stated that they thought it would be enough. Then he left. Then Bob joked about ordering pizza. Mike thought that it wouldn’t be a bad idea.
They ordered and in half an hour, the pizza arrived. They ordered many boxes, and many people in the wedding had at least a slice.
The guests were happy again as they were hungry this time. But Mike had felt that something bad was going to happen.
Then Linda’s father went to talk with Mike, and asked for a slice. Then Mike refused, as he told him that his family caused the hunger at the wedding by consuming the buffet. The man went back to his table as he was angrily murmuring.
Tom came later, and asked Sarah and Mike to leave. He stated that Linda was upset that they disrespected her father. Tom was aware of the situation, but he had to do this to keep things under control. “Please, just go. We’ll talk later.”
Few days later Tom called Mike. He apologized. He stated that as they watched their wedding tape, they noticed how much food Linda’s family took from the buffet. Then Linda had an argue with her family and she was sorry too. They invited Sarah and Mike to dinner as an apology.
As they gladly accepted their offer, they had a lovely evening together, as two married couple.
