Taylor had a sister’s trip as she was tired with all years’ work. She left her daughter Lila with her father John. A week later she returned, and found the bathroom door destroyed.
She first thought that something terrible had happened. When she asked what happened to her husband, John stated that he got locked inside, and that was the only way to his exit.
Then she asked to her daughter, and Lila told Taylor that she was too tired, and rushed back to her room.
On the next day, while Taylor was returning back home, she got bumped into her neighbour, Dave. He hugged Taylor when he saw her and stated that if she needs anything he will be there.
“I swear I didn’t know who was inside when I slammed the door into pieces.” Dave added.
As Taylor was surprised, she asked for what happened. Dave realised that she had no idea what was happening. Then he explained that Lila came to his house one evening. She stated to Dave that his father was hurt in bathroom, and he was screaming. She said can’t open the door.
When Dave knocked the door down, he caught John with a woman inappropriately. They kicked him out then. He also stated that Lila was waiting outside of the house and saw nothing.
Taylor kicked the garbage can with anger. She than thanked to Dave and stated that she would contact if she needs anything.
“Who was in our bathroom, John?” Taylor asked when she found her husband on the couch, watching TV.
Dave acted as if he didn’t know what was happening. As Taylor screamed with anger, John revealed that she was a friend. Taylor went upstairs to pack her and Lila’s belongings. John come to the bedroom then. He apologized and asked for forgiveness.
On the next day, she took a day off from work and went to her parents’ house. The last time John had seen Taylor was the time she handed over the divorce papers.
