Margaret opened the coffee shop finally, as it was her dream with her late husband. It was the opening day, and everything was looking great. Margaret thought that nothing can be wrong this day.
Despite her friends advised her to hire someone, Margaret wanted to work alone as she stated that she managed bigger challenges in life, and working solo wouldn’t cause much problem for her.
But more people come to the store, than Margaret had thought of. She struggled a lot at her first day, and some people were not happy with the service, as she would need super human powers to serve that much people at the same time.
As she closed the evening arrived, she decided to find someone. That night she turned down many candidates, and then Andrew came to the shop, and introduced himself. He explained that he found her ad, and that he would like to work.
As they were talking, a customer walked in, and Andrew immediately started to talk with the customer. He was a charmer, and take orders of the customer. Margaret was impressed with Andrew, and how great of a talker he was.
After the customer left, Margaret offered Andrew work, and he was gladly accepted. Despite how great of a worker Andrew was, Margaret was waiting for a mistake he would made, as she wasn’t trusting him.
Andrew was reminding her of John, her late husband. His calm demeanor and facial construction was incredibly similar.
In the coming days, Margaret fell from a ladder while she was cleaning the high shelf. She hurt her leg. When she screamed, Andrew rushed to help her. He took her to a hospital directly, and there they learned that Margaret’s leg was broken.
Andrew took Margaret to her home, and stated that she should rest while he will be taking care of the coffee shop. Margaret stated that she will be there tomorrow, but Andrew insisted her to rest.
But in the end, she was the boss and her word was the last one. Margaret struggled a lot while on her way to coffee shop. She called a taxi, since she was not able to drive in this condition.
She was in a lot of pain once she was in her coffee shop. Andrew already opened the shop and she was shocked how people were happily enjoying their coffees and other beverages.
Andrew greeted her, and when she asked that if he did all this by himself, she was shocked to learn that he indeed managed everything himself.
As the day was over, Margaret asked Andrew to drive her home. While she rested, Andrew washed the dishes and cooked for her. The lasagna was the same lasagna John would cook. She stated that, and Andrew revealed that his father taught him.
As time passed and Andrew become Margaret’s helpful loyal assistant, and Margaret realised that Andrew had a liking one of their regulars. When she was in the shop, Andrew would be nervous.
Margaret pushed him to ask out, and then Andrew did. It turned out great, as she accepted. But he then stated that she can’t wait until his shift was over. Margeret sent Andrew early with a smile. He thanked and went on his date with Jane.
As time passed, Margaret noticed a birthmark on Andrew’s arm. She was shocked because her husband John had the same birthmark on his shoulder too. She then asked Andrew’s father’s name suddenly.
He was surprised, and revealed that his father’s name was John. Margaret was shocked and angry. She fired Andrew and accused him with using her. She stated that he knew who she was, and he was mocking her for that.
Andrew pleaded that he didn’t know and swear that he didn’t do such a thing. He was in need of work and that she accepted him. But it wasn’t enough as Margaret kicked him out.
Few days later, Margaret went to hospital to remove the cast on her leg. She saw a mother and her young son, and praised their resemblance. The woman revealed that he was her husband’s child, and they were not blood related and that she loves him no matter what.
That brought something into Margaret’s mind. After she left the hospital, she directly went to Andrew’s house, and hugged her as she cried.
