Benjamin planned a plot after he learned from his doctor that he left few months to live at the age of 68. Since he was 21, Benjamin was working for his company. He created a fortune through his hard work.
As life went on, he welcomed five children, Jake, Simon, Kevin, Jose, and Rick. They never knew what hard work meant, and they never called their father if they were not in need of money.
When Benjamin received the news from his doctor, he decided to test his sons, as he wanted to choose one of them as his successor.
Then he made his lawyer to send letters to his sons about his passing. When the sons received the letters, they wrote back to learn who received what, as they only cared for his money.
As he was waiting for his boys to arrive, the noon arrived and no one had come yet. Then a young lady came into the cemetery in her black dress. She asked to Benjamin that if she was in the right cemetery for a funeral.
Then Benjamin asked that if he knew the young woman. Then the woman introduced herself. She stated that her name was Alice, and that she was Jake’s fiance.
Then Benjamin questioned with shock that why his son didn’t mention of his engagement. When Alice heard that, she couldn’t believe. The father of her fiance, Benjamin was alive, and was standing next to her.
Alice talked about the letter then. She asked the reason behind his lie against his sons. Benjamin then revealed the truth about how his sons were acting against him. As Alice learned what happened, she stated that she tried to convince Jake to come to the funeral of Benjamin.
Two days after the fake funeral, the lawyer sent another letter to the sons. In that letter, the lawyer stated that Benjamin chose an heir, and she was outside of the family, and the sole owner of all his estates and wealth.
They rushed to their father’s lawyer’s office, and found Alice and Benjamin in there. As Jake was shocked, he couldn’t believe his eyes once he saw Alice. Then Benjamin revealed the truth, that none of them come to his funeral, and only Alice came. For that reason, Alice deserved all his wealth, and also she is leaving Jake.
After the sons were excluded from Benjamin’s inheritance, Alice became the owner of his company, and since she broke up with Jake, the only wealth he left with was the ring he bought with his father’s money.
