Madison was 22 when she met 29-year-old Will. He was a widowed man who had two children, Tamara and Nick. As their relationship grow quickly, she met with the children very early.
Since he was calling Madison “the one,” things got weirdly fast for both Madison and the children. They married within that year.
But things fell apart quickly. Despite Madison had a fulltime job, she was being pushed to take care of everything in the house. She was responsible for childcare, cooking, and other household chores.
As they started to argue a lot, the children started to cause problem too. Madison would expect children to help her, but they were not since their father would let them play instead of helping.
She had enough, and decided to leave one day, as she couldn’t overcome the feeling of being used like a slave. She left a letter for Will and the kids, and started her new life.
As 15 years passed since her divorce, Madison were shocked when she received a call from Tamara, who was 25 now. She thanked her as she stated that she was the mother figure in their life, and that Nick and herself were grateful for the time they spent together.
Then Nick talked with her too. He stated that she was the reason they knew kindness, and no other woman their father dated had acted against them like she did. Will dated some women, but he never married again.
After their talk, Madison met them again. As time passed, they became a family once more, after Will passed away. The mother returned to her children, who were estranged from each other for years.
