BOYFRIEND WOULD “FORGET” HIS WALLET WHENEVER THEY WENT OUT, SHE GAVE HIM A LESSON

A 32-year-old woman shared a story on Reddit’s “r/AmItheA**hole” subreddit. The woman explained that her boyfriend would “forget” his wallet whenever they would eat outside, and as she was sick of it, she decided to give him a lesson.

The woman shared that she was working at two jobs, where one of the jobs was part-time. “We agreed to go out together with the kids and I even sent him a text reminding him to not forget his credit card. He laughed it off.”

Once they were at the restaurant, the boyfriend let his children order whatever they wanted. Before they started to eat, Redditor mentioned the boyfriend’s card, and then the man started to search his pockets in panic.

“He then looked at me in a sorry way and said “Guess I forgot it in the other pair of jeans that I thought I was going to wear” then asked me to foot the bill “just this time”.” The woman shared.

As the Redditor heard that, she immediately took her stuff from the table, and left the restaurant. When her boyfriend asked what she was doing, she turned to him and said that she will not be doing this again, as she told him before.

“He called me later and absolutely lost it on me. he said that he couldn’t believe I’d walk and leave him and the KIDS in this situation. I said I wasn’t going to pay for him and the kids’ food every single time! it’s unfair!” The woman continued.
