80-year-old Gregory couldn’t believe his eyes once he stepped out to his porch. He called his wife Cynthia, as he thought that he was imagining things. Instead of his old car, there was an expensive sports car standing.
Cynthia come towards the porch as she was not happy with being called while she was working in the kitchen.
Then Gregory pointed the car. And then he showed the envelope he found on the porch. He explained that the keys of the car was in there, and a note that stating the car was belonging to him now.
Then a honk made him turn his head. He was shocked when he saw his old car, and the young man stepping out of it. The man rushed towards Jack and hugged him. They talked for a bit, and Jack revealed that he worked with Cynthia to realize his plan.
Cynthia smiled as she explained that she couldn’t stop Jack, so she decided to help him. They invited Jack inside for dinner, and continued to their conversation.
Cynthia knew Jack was close to Gregory, but she didn’t know where they met. She then asked about it.
Jack started to explain. They met at the airport. They were supposed to be in the same plane, where Jack was on his way to see his wife. his wife was in labour and he was worried.
Jack got the wrong ticket, as his flight was for the other day. Then Gregory offered to change their tickets as he stated that he should be with his wife.
As they were waiting for the plane, they also talked about their own lives. Gregory revealed to Jack that he was still paying off loans and that he couldn’t afford a new car. After they exchanged their tickets, Jack promised that they will change their cars too. He was there to keep his promise.
Later, Jack also paid the whole debt of Gregory and Cynthia. From that day on, he constantly visited them, and even he brought his family to meet with the elderly couple.
