Mel Gibson and his wife of 31 years, Robyn Denice Moore, decided to divorce 18 years ago. They welcomed seven children in their marriage, and their divorce became the most expensive divorce in the world, after Moore received $425 million.
Gibson was only a young actor when he met Moore. After he starred in Mad Max, in 1979, he had his breakthrough, and in the same year, he welcomed his first child.
Later, Gibson had two more children from Oksana Grigorieva, and from Rosalind Ross, he welcomed Lars Gerrard Gibson. He is still in a relationship with 34 years younger Rosalind. They have been together for 10 years.
In his 31 years of marriage with Moore, their love faded as they spent an incredible amount of time together. As a settlement, Robyn received $425 million, and this was half of the fortune Gibson had.
