62-year-old Sally was living alone for 15 years, since she lost her husband. Her son ran away more than 20 years ago, and now he was living in another country.
For weeks, Sally’s house was acting as if it was alive. Vases, picture frames and other things would move around the house by themselves. She thought that she was getting old and that she would forget moving them, but she couldn’t ignore it anymore.
One day she found the family portrait next to outside door, on a chair. That was it. She decided to install a security camera in her house.
She couldn’t find anything in the first two days, but in the third, she saw a figure in black was moving stuff around. She was terrified. The black figure moved items around in odd hours.
She immediately called authorities. She showed them the footage, and the officers ensured that they will search around the neighbourhood. then they warned other neighbours about the situation.
Then she made a plan and shared it with the officers. She would leave the house in the morning again, and the figure in black would enter the house. It would be a trap for it. On the morning, she took her laptop and went to a cafe in the morning. As she watched the live footage, the figure appeared again.
She notified the officers, and they explained that they were on their way. But the intruder didn’t move objects this time. He went through Sally’s belongings, and held an old sweater of her late husband up to his chest.
Then the officers barged in, and the intruder tried to escape. They caught him on the backyard. As they removed the mask, Sally was shocked. The intruder was her son.
Then her son revealed that he was trying to drive Sally insane to be the new owner of the house. He yelled at Sally, while the officers were taking him in.
