Trudy was the daughter of Madison and Joe Lando. Her father Joe was a miner, and sadly he passed away in a mining accident. Madison was an archaeologist, but after she married Joe, she left her career.
After Joe’s passing, Madison blamed her husband since she warned her about the dangers of his job. Trudy was three when she lost her father.
It was financially struggling for Madison and Trudy, since they had no money after Joe passed away. Madison worked to keep her daughter fed, but that was it, until fate intervened.
One day, while Trudy was in kindergarten, a wealthy friend of her, Bella La Fontaine, invited everyone to her birthday party. She told them that the event had a dress code, and people should buy clothes from her father’s store, Fontaine Clothing, with a discount.
When Trudy went back home, she talked with her mother and explained the situation. Then Madison took Trudy to the store. She only had $100 that day, and that was a tip she received at the restaurant.
Unfortunately, the dresses at the store was much more expensive than the money Madison had. She then decided to buy some fabric, and sew something similar to the dresses they saw. Trudy was not happy, but she didn’t say anything.
At the party, the children mocked Trudy’s outfit. Her mother put a lot effort to sew it, but it was not from the store, and it was not an expensive outfit. The rich parents and their children laughed at Trudy and Madison.
She then ran out of the building. As she was crying, she accidentally hit a car, a limousine which was parked outside. The driver nervously left the car, and then a 40-year-old man stepped out of the car.
As the man asked to Trudy that if she was okay, Madison arrived after her daughter. She was shocked, because the rich man who stepped out of the limousine was her husband, Joe, whom she believed was dead.
Joe couldn’t believe his eyes after he saw Madison, because the little girl on the ground was his daughter.
Joe started to cry, as he revealed that he was searching for them for years. Then he also revealed that he was there for a birthday party of his business associate. Madison explained the situation. As he learned what happened, he took his family inside with him.
The people laughed at them again, but this time Joe was with them. The parents were shocked. Joe defended his family, left the gift he brought, and left the house.
Then he took his family to their new home. He revealed that he was wearing his friend’s jacket during the accident, and that he was knocked out. When he was awakened, the documents were mixed and he lost his memory for a while.
Once he started to remember, he immediately started to his search for his family. Now, as Joe found his family once again, he brought them to their new peaceful family.
