Meredith recently buried her husband of 55 years. She was mourning in her home, where she was living happily with her husband, Justin. Her only wish was to hug him one more time.
Despite not having able to have children, their marriage of 55 years was a bliss for Meredith. She had a devoted husband, they were happy.
A phone call received her the news of her husband’s passing, after a car accident.
She was sitting on her husband’s desk, where he would study and work. Justin would spend hours on that desk. Meredith opened the drawers, and in there she saw many documents.
Then she noticed a letter to a woman named Clara.
In the letter, Justin was calling “Dear Clara,” and he was explaining to the woman that he will be with her soon, once he had the time. And there was also a name which was a dagger to Meredit’s heart, “little Sophie.”
Meredith then found the pictures of Clara and Sarah where they were in the same picture with Justin. He was hiding them in his drawer. Then the door got knocked, it was her friend, Jessica.
Then Meredith started to cry, as Jessica tried to comfort her. She revealed that she found a letter to another woman which shocked Jessica.
Jessica couldn’t believe what she saw when she got into Justin’s office. They found Clara’s address, and Meredith decided to go and see the woman, she believed Justin was having an affair with.
She went to Florida, and knocked the door. Then Clara opened the door. Meredith then revealed that she was Justin’s wife. With anger, she told her that Justin had passed away.
Clara started to cry, as she revealed that Justin was a father figure in her life. Meredith was shocked. She had no other idea than Clara being the mistress of Justin. She was shocked when she learned the truth about Clara and Justin’s relationship.
As Clara invited Meredith inside, she revealed that she met with Justin when she was 16. She was kicked out of the house by her stepfather, after the passing of her mother. She was also pregnant at that time.
As she was living on the streets, Justin found and helped her. Clara praised Justin, as she revealed that she can’t express the gratitude she has for Justin.
Meredith was shocked, and was in tears. Then her daughter Sophia and a tall man entered. Clara introduced the man as her husband, Taylor. Taylor stated that he was excited to meet with Justin’s wife.
Then they talked about Justin passing away. They decided to honour him with a dinner in his name. Meredith stayed with them for two weeks, where she became the grandmother of the family, where her husband was the grandfather.
