There are many missing person reports in the world, and some of them are still not found, even decades later families expect the safe return of their loved ones. Kennedy Jean Schroer was one of the little girls who got missing and was searching for four years.
Sadly, Kennedy’s remains found in the backyard of her adoptive parents. 4-year-old Kennedy’s sisters were adopted by a different family in 2019, and her biological mother lost their custody.
She was being adopted by a family in Kansas, USA. Sadly, her body was found in the garden of the house which belonged to her adoptive parents. DNA tests revealed the truth. The officers are suspecting that Kennedy was six when she died in 2020.
“While we understand the desire to hold people accountable, we need to get this right, not just fast.” authorities said.
“I want them to get the therapy and love they need from their real family, where they belong,” the biological mother, Christa Helm said.
“We understand that many in the public may be confused as to why no one has been arrested in this case,” Rose Hill Police Department shared.
“We understand that many in the public might be confused how an arrest in this case has not been made, that is completely understandable,” they added. “What we would like to convey is that we have one chance to gather as much information as possible, to find out what happened to this child and to tell her story.”
